Downeast Web Design Services is managed by Patricia Eagan who has over 20 years in the software development business. Working for large NY based corporations, she was involved in the design of several large software development projects. This included designing user interfaces as well as the processing flow.

As part of her involvement in software projects, she had extensive contact with the customers of these systems in defining business needs, user requirements, customer specific enhancements and marketing trends.

Always known as a visionary, she was quick to get involved in the Internet and web design. At one of her employers she initiated the first web site designed as an online customer service center in the early days of the web.

Realizing that the web broke down traditional work boundaries, she fulfilled a long time goal of relocating to Maine. Working as a consultant for one of her prior employees and employed by a major organization in Maine, she looks today to focus her skills on designing web sites for small businesses and offering her expertise in the areas of education and training.

Keeping up with the latest in internet tehnologies is always a challenge. This is achieved by participation in national web design conferences, as well as online and in-class courses in web tools and techniques. Pat holds a Certificate in Web Design and is a long time member of the HTML Writers Guild.
